NATCHEZ — Services for Frank Gamble, 77, of Cannonsburg, who died Sunday, Aug. 12, 2007, at his residence, will be noon Saturday at Bethlehem Baptist Church, Cannonsburg, with the Rev. Percy Turner officiating.
Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of George F. West Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home and from 11 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Mr. Gamble was born Dec. 11, 1930, in Fayette, the son of A.J. and J.Z. Gamble. He was employed with the Corps of Engineers Matt Sinking Unit and was retired from Fayette Enterprises. He was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. Mr. Gamble was also a member of the Wise Men Hunting Club.
Survivors include his children, Clifton Gamble and wife, Patricia, James Gamble and wife, Gail, Sandra King and husband, Keith, and Jacqueline Frye and husband, Rocky, all of Cannonsburg; sisters, Laura Tyler and Mary Turner and husband, Warren, all of Fayette; grandchildren, Dennis Fleming, Veronica Gamble, Clifton Gamble Jr., Dramon King, Nakita Frye, Latreasha Gamble, Jessica Gamble and Jemyrus King; a great-grandchild, Ra’Kia Gamble; a godchild, Tri’Yonna Green; seven sisters-in-law; three brothers-in-law; a number of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be deacons Carl Jackson, Leon Dorsey Jr., Lucien Dotson, Leroy Robinson, Sandy Griffin Jr. and A. J. Wyatt.
Honorary pallbearers will be Bethlehem Baptist Church deacon board.
