SAN RAMON, Calif. — Chevron Corp., has announced that Guy C. Hollingsworth will become president of Chevron, Eurasia, Europe and Middle East Exploration and Production, based in London.

Chevron is one of the world’s leading integrated energy companies. The company has about 58,000 employees and conducts business in approximately 180 countries.

Hollingsworth is a Natchez native. After graduating from South Natchez High School and receiving a degree in Petroleum Engineering at LSU, he went to work for Chevron in 1979. Guy and his wife, the former Susan Colter of Natchez, currently live in Almaty, Kazakhstan, where he is the managing director of Chevron Eurasia. They will now move to London in his new position.
