After a Democratic Primary ballot filled with four candidates, a long period of absentee vote counting and a runoff vote, Eddie Walker ended up on top beating incumbent M.L. Binkey Vines Tuesday night.

Unofficial results show Walker beating Vines 4982 votes to 2825 votes. With more than 550 absentee votes cast in the runoff, it appears that Walker will win election as the county’s newest circuit clerk.
