A motorcyclist was reportedly killed earlier today after his motorized tricycle was struck by a car on U.S. 84 east near Vidalia.

The victim was a male in his late 40s or early 50s, first responders on the scene said. The name of the victim has not yet been released.

State Police are investigating the accident.
