WOODVILLE — The Accelerated Reader testing is in full swing. The top reading class for last week was the fourth grade, 21 students read and tested on 53 books.

Congratulations to all the newly elected class officers for the 2007-2008 school year. The new seventh-grade class officers are Jessica Reynolds, president; Lydia Morris, vice president; Emma Martens, secretary; and Jennifer Chaffin, treasurer.

The class officers for the eighth grade are as follows: Amanda Pritchard, president; Audrey Morris, vice president; Ethan Carruth, secretary; Terri Fisher and Austin Rabalais, reporters.

Officers for the ninth grade are Corey Smith, president; Lily Smith, vice president; Sutton Olive, secretary; Taylor Littleton, treasurer.

Tenth-grade officers are Samantha Pace, president; Erin O’leary, vice president; Todd La Prairie, treasurer; Taylor Vines, Asst. treasurer; Kathy Gayle, secretary; and Rachael Lipke, reporter.
