LAWTON, Okla. — Services for Barbara Nell Chatman, 52, of Lawton, who died Saturday, Aug. 4, 2007, at her residence, were at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 10, 2007, at St. John Baptist Church with the Rev. Tyrone Turner officiating.

Burial followed at Fort Sill National Cemetery under the direction of Jefferson Funeral Home.

Mrs. Chatman was born May 24, 1955, in Natchez, the daughter of Walter Hargrave Sr. and Dorothy Knight Reynolds. She was a 1974 graduate of South Natchez High School. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her father; stepfather, Abraham Reynolds Sr.; grandmother, Viola P. Knight; brother, Larry Hargrave; sister, Sherry Hargrave; and twin grandsons, Mario Chatman Jr. and Marquis Chatman.

Survivors include her husband, Isaiah Chatman III; sons, Savalas Chatman and Mario Chatman Sr., all of Lawton; mother, Dorothy Knight Reynolds; sisters, Betty K. Phipps, Linda F. Hargrave, Dorothy M. Reynolds and Lorraine Reynolds, all of Natchez, and Joyce K. Murphy of Jackson; brothers, Walter Hargrave Jr. of Atlanta, Michael Hargrave of Jackson, Audley Hargrave of Oakland, Calif., Allen J. Reynolds and Abraham Reynolds Jr., both of Natchez; granddaughter, Myanna Coleman; grandsons, Marlell Chatman, Tavion Coleman, all of Lawton; uncles, Charlie Knight, Joseph Knight, Pearlie Williams, all of Natchez, Alvin Knight of Petersburg, Va.; and a number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Pallbearers were the men of St. John Baptist Church.
