FAYETTEVILLE, Ga. – Services for Michael LaMont Moore, 34, of Marietta, Ga., who died Thursday, Sept. 6, 2007, in Marietta, were Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2007, in Fayetteville with the Rev. Lavonia Kess McIntyre officiating.

Burial followed at Cedar Grove Cemetery, in Augusta, under the direction of H. Griner Funeral Home of Fayetteville.

Mr. Moore was born March 29, 1973, at Fort Gordon, in Augusta, the son of Phyllis Ann Moore. He attended Lakeside High School and Georgia Medical Institute. He was employed in law enforcement for the last seven years.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

Survivors include his twin brother, Mario Moore and wife, Misti; sister, Yoruba Whitener and husband, Tim; grandparents, Albert and Charlotte Evans; aunts, Gwen Calhoun, Theresa Evans and Tina Kyler; uncle, Richard Evans; great-aunt, Deloris Irving and husband, the Rev. Maurice Irving and great-uncles, James Evans, Tommy Evans and Adell Evans; special nieces, Danielle Gonzales and Mikayla Moore and nephew, Jacob Whitener; a number of other relatives and friends.
