WOODVILLE — Services for Judith Pauline Lanehart Perry, of St. Francisville, La., formerly of the Buffalo community, near Woodville, who died Thursday, Sept. 27, 2007, at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center, in Lafayette, will be 11 a.m. today at Pioneer Baptist Church, on Buffalo Road, with the Rev. Kevin Dixon officiating.

Burial will follow at Enlow Cemetery with the Rev. Henry Geter officiating and under the direction of Brown Funeral Home in Gloster.

Visitation will be from 8 a.m. until service time today at the church.

Mrs. Perry was born July 21, 1931, in Natchez, the daughter of Walter Wisner Lanehart and Lola Grace Phipps Lanehart. She was a loving mother and a role model for her girls. She was retired from the department of corrections and public safety for the State of Louisiana as a security guard.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughters, Janice Perry Brocato and Jamie Perry Nettles and her brothers, David Lanehart and Clyde Lanehart.

Survivors include her daughters, Glenda Howell and husband, Eugene, both of Katy, Texas and Paulette Jackson and husband, Frank, both of Zachary; son-in-law, Merse Brocato of Melville; grandchildren, Dustin Howell and Caroline Howell of Katy and Ashlea Roberts and husband, Shane, both of Baton Rouge; and great-grandchildren, Jake Perry Covell and Genevieve Janice Roberts.

Pallbearers will be Bo Elam, Cloyce Hinton, Craig Lanehart, Lane McCarty, Jennings Nettles, Jimmy Whitehead, Thomas Whittington and Arthur Wisner.
