NATCHEZ — Services for Tim Earl Cupit, 46, of Vidalia, who died Saturday, Sept. 29, at his residence, will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Natchez City Cemetery with the Rev. Gary Howington officiating.

Burial will follow under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home in Vidalia.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Young’s Funeral Home.

Mr. Cupit was born Aug. 28, 1961, in Natchez, the son of Velma Smith Cupit and Earl Cupit.

He was a painter and a member of the First United Pentecostal Church of Ferriday.

He was preceded in death by his mother; and three brothers, Mark Cupit, Thomas Cupit and Don Cupit.

Survivors include wife Lydia Cupit; father Earl Cupit of Ferriday; sons Timothy Cupit of Doloroso; and Quentien Garretson of Vidalia; daughters Miriam Cupit King and her husband, Jimmy, both of Vidalia; and Michelle Garretson of Vidalia; sisters Dianne and her husband Walter Hall, both of Vidalia; and Christel and her husband, William Fuller, both of Jackson; and four grandsons, Sebastian Cupit, Haylee King, Nathaniel Tatum and Dakota Wallace.

Pallbearers will be Timothy Cupit, Allan Cotton, Seth Cotton, Tracy Burr, Jimmy King, Quentien Garretson and Chris Burr.
