NATCHEZ – Services for Earl Wayne Wheat Jr., 39, of Mobile, Ala., formerly of Natchez, who died Saturday, Sept. 29, 2007, at Baldwin County Regional Medical Center, in Foley, Ala., will be at 2 p.m. today at Laird Funeral Home Union Street Chapel with the Rev. Paul Southerland officiating.

Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time today at the funeral home.

Mr. Wheat was born Sept. 17, 1968, in Natchez, the son of Earl Wayne Wheat Sr. and Patricia Ann Turner Wheat.

He was preceded in death by his father, grandparents and aunt, Nan Wheat.

Survivors include his mother, Patricia “Pat” Wheat of Mobile; sister, Marleta McKee and husband, Kevin, both of Mobile; brothers, Kevin Wheat and wife, Tammy, both of Mobile and Shaun Wheat and wife, Jeanna, of Robertsdale, Ala.; and a niece and four nephews.

Pallbearers will be Shaun Wheat, Kevin Wheat, Dale Wheat, Warren Wheat, Robbie Borger, Mike Shelton, Brian Jordan and Kevin McKee.
