New Hope to host ‘Coming Together’

Natchez — It’s a wonderful thing for the Children of God to come together in unity. Psalm 133:1 saith, “Behold how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity.” It has an attractive force. In spite of denomination, religion, culture or race, when we come together it is as an exquisite fragrance that attracts the hearts of many. Although it may be voiceless, yet it’s influential, effective and admirable to all who gaze upon it. It is obedience to the Word and Will of God as it reveals the character and spirit of Jesus Christ.
Thanks to the Rev. David O’Connor of St. Mary Catholic Church for having such a spirit to bring about unity through the coming together of the churches throughout the community. Join us on Oct. 14 from 4 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church on 418 Morgantown Road as we among the various other churches throughout this year and next host “Coming Together.” Allow us the opportunity to share with you the history and program of New Hope and join us for a tour and fellowship afterwards as we endeavor to keep and portray the Word of God.
