Myrtle Pell

PORT GIBSON – Services for Myrtle Campbell Pell, 73, who died Saturday, Oct. 13, 2007, at River Regional Medical Center, in Vicksburg, were 2 p.m. Wednesday at Strong Hope Baptist Church.

Burial followed at the church cemetery under the direction of Stringer Family Funeral Home in Hazlehurst.

Visitation was from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Pell was a native of Natchez. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Robert Frank Pell Sr.; daughters, Linda Storey and husband, Billy, both of Vicksburg and Cathy Bauer and husband, Terry, both of Crystal Springs; sons, Robert “Bobby” Pell and wife, Laveda, both of Vicksburg, Jimmy Pell and wife, Eugenia, both of Pearl and Albert Pell and companion, Frances Galey, both of Vicksburg; brother, Wayne Campbell of Fayette; sisters, Rena Thorpe and Geraldine Harrison, both of Natchez, and Agnes Tingle of Columbia, La.; grandsons, Sonny Pell, Spencer Pell, Gene Pell, Eric Pell, Travis Pell, Christopher Hobkirk and Joseph Bauer; granddaughters, Courtney Pell and Niki Hobkirk; and great-granddaughter, Stephanie Pell.
