Army National Guard Pvt. Brandi Y. Lee has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C.

During the nine weeks of training, the soldier studied fitness basic combat skills, military weapons, marksmanship, armed and unarmed combat, basic first aid, among other things. She is the daughter of Ola Lee of Azalea St., Jonesville, La., and sister of Bianca Lee of Sage Court, Ruston, La. Lee is a 2007 graduate of Block High School, Jonesville.
