The Dixie Riding Club invites all the area children to participate in its next horse show. No horse is required.

The club has added new events including mutton busting, dummy roping and pulling a ribbon off a goat’s tail.

Smaller children can also ride a stick horse around cones set up in a barrel pattern. There is something for all ages and all children will receive a ribbon.

The club’s next horse show will be on Nov. 3 at ACFC on Foster Mound Road. It will start at 11 a.m.

Since it is so close to Halloween, the show will include a costume contest. Horses and children will be in costume.
