WOODVILLE — This week’s highlighted class is Miss Jackie’s second grade. So far this year they have been learning how to count money, learning the difference between singular and plural, reading about sharks, and making a class quilt.

The boys drew trucks and the girls drew butterflies and rainbows for their quilt squares. If you would like to see the quilt, it is hanging in the elementary hall.

Student Council officers for the 2007-2008 school year are President Lauren Mingee; Vice President Garrett Wilkerson; Secretary Kathleen Rouprich; Treasurer Ron Polan; Reporters Brennan Bush and Taylor Vines; Representatives Emma Benton, Sam Pace and Lane Alan McCarty.
