You’re invited to walk for commercial

Blue Cross Blue Shield of Mississippi is sending a film crew to Natchez on Monday, to film for a commercial and possibly a DVD as part of their Let’s Go Walk Mississippi program.
Their desire is to film people walking at the bluff as the sun is setting to show the large number of “walkers” that take the form of exercise, and the governor’s program quite seriously.
The video footage will be used in the upcoming year as a statewide promotional video that hopes to promote walking in communities throughout the state. In order to make this shot a success, they need 100-150 people to meet them at the bluff at 4 p.m. and volunteer about an hour and a half of their time in making this campaign a success. They are looking for a good mix of people to help represent Natchez and all they’re expecting is for a large turnout. All you’ll have to do is walk around the bluff and Broadway Street at the bluff gazebo.
Blue Cross has made a substantial contribution to the Natchez Trails Project — $150,000 to be exact — so a strong show of support in return would be greatly appreciated. All you need to do to be a part of this significant project is show up in your walking clothes/shoes at 4 p.m. at the gazebo on the bluff, and bring the kids along too as we hope to make “Let’s Go Walk Mississippi” a strong legacy for the future of healthcare in the state. Mississippi is considered the most obese states in the U.S. and that is a statistic that everyone needs to see go away.
Please support the production company in its effort to not only promote walking and excercise, but to promote Natchez as a leader in the governor’s statewide health plan.
