Pan Hellenic Council presents ‘Town Talk’

The citizens of Adams County are invited to come out to see, hear and participate in a forum which is named “Town Talk” presented by the National Pan Hellenic Council of Natchez. This is a forum consisting of the mayors of Natchez and Vidalia, representatives from the Isle of Capri, Emerald Star, the EDA and the chamber of commerce, Walter Brown, Walter Tipton and Supervisor Darryl Grennell.

The National Pan Hellenic Council is an organization composed of members from nine predominately black fraternities and sororities. As part of our agenda, we aim to educate and update the Miss-Lou community both economically and socially. As an organization, we have decided that the best method of bringing forth information is to create a forum whereby those with first-hand information will be allowed to expound on the progress and expectations of their organizations or company, and how it will benefit our community.

We have asked that these individuals attend the forum at 7 p.m. Thursday in the city’s council chambers on Pearl Street. The format is designed to give these representatives time to deliver a message on behalf of his or her organization or company. After all messages have been delivered, citizens will be allowed to submit questions that will be asked by two moderators.
