NATCHEZ — Services for Audrey Lee R. Leach, 79, of Natchez, who died Monday, Nov. 5, 2007, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be at 11 a.m. today at Union Baptist Church with the Rev. Joe Pickett officiating.
Burial will follow at Natchez National Cemetery under the direction of Archie C. Curtis Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time today at the church.
Mrs. Leach was born Feb. 20, 1928, in Adams County, the daughter of Sim David Roderick and Marion Bradley Roderick. She was a faithful member of Union Baptist Church where she served on the usher board and as a member of the missionary society.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lester Leach Sr.; and two sisters.
Survivors include her daughters, Marion Maxine Washington and husband, Claudie, both of Duluth, Minn., Belnette Thomas and husband, Roy, both of Merrillville, Ind. and Angela Stampley and husband, Roosevelt, both of Jackson; stepdaughter, Elaine Houston and husband, Bennie, both of Virginia Beach, Va.; sons, Robert Johnson and wife, Glenda, both of Chicago and Lester Leach Jr. and wife, Johnnie, both of Natchez; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two special friends, Betty Dennis and Zelia Martin, both of Natchez; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be friends of the family.
