NATCHEZ — Services for Warren Elton “Blue” Anderson, 54, of Natchez, who died Monday, Nov. 5, 2007, at Adams County Nursing Home, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Holy Family Catholic Church with the Rev. Michael Saah-Buckman, S.S.J., officiating.

Burial will follow at Pine Hill Memorial Park under the direction of Webb Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home, with rosary at 7:30 p.m., and from noon until service time Saturday at the church.

Mr. Anderson was born Sept. 30, 1953, in Natchez.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Ella Hawkins.

Survivors include a devoted daughter, Amber Anderson; son, Jamar Harvard of Jackson; a special grandson, Jardarius Anderson; sisters, Evelyn Elaine Whitley and husband, Prentiss, of Houston, Irma Kinapoe and husband, Jermiah, of Minneapolis, Beverly Pierce and husband, Greg, and Elizabeth Evans, all of Natchez; brothers, Thomas Darnell Hoggatt and wife, Dorothy, both of Lawton, Okla., Leandro Dixon Jr. and wife, Mary, both of Natchez, John Fleming Jr. and wife, Renee, of Houston, Charles Fleming of Dallas, Glen Fleming and wife, Faye, both of Monroe, La. and Leroy Anderson Jr. of Memphis, Tenn.; aunt, Jimmie Lawrence of Cincinnati; uncle, Joe Grinell Jr. of Natchez; special aunt, Emma L. Calvit; special friend, Clarence “Skeet” McQuarters of Natchez; a number of nieces, nephews, special friends and family who will cherish his memories.

Pallbearers will be Clarence McQuarters, Willie Holmes, Curt Anderson, Isiah Young and Norman Gray.
