VIDALIA — A Vidalia mother has organized a fundraiser to benefit her son, who has a form of autism.
Zachary Johnson has also been diagnosed with nine brain tumors.
“I was told his condition is very rare and since he also has seizures resulting from these tumors, it would be hard for them to operate,” his mother Kristen Johnson said.
Johnson has since found doctors in California and Florida who are willing to look at Zach.
Now, Johnson is trying to raise money to fund Zach’s medical expenses.
“Zach out autism” T-shirts are on sale from sizes small to XL for $20 each. The shirts are in the KISS band style, because Zach loves the band.
Money can also be donated to Zach’s account at Tensas State Bank in Vidalia.
Kristen Johnson can be contacted at 318-336-3396 or 318-719-5423.
