GLOSTER — Services for Laurel Anne Kesterson, 55, who died on Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2007, at her residence will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Brown Funeral Home Chapel in Gloster with the Rev. Thomas Wicker officiating.

Visitation will be at 9 a.m. until the time of the service at Brown Funeral Home.

Burial will follow in Mount Carmel Cemetery near Gloster.

Mrs. Kesterson was born in Centreville, on Jan. 15, 1952, the daughter of A.B. and Ermyntrude Longmire.

She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Pearland, Texas, and was a kindergarten teacher at Shadycrest Elementary in Pearland. She was formerly employed at Bailey Elementary in Pasadena, Texas, and was the previous director of Westminster Preschool.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Retired Lt. Commander W.W. Kesterson; sister, Lea Marsh; and brothers, Harry Longmire and Bill Longmire.

She is survived by her daughter, Megan Kesterson and fiancé Jason Hamric; her beloved friend, Butch Minter; her sisters, Susan Jones and husband, Roy; Rose Mary Durham and husband, Michael; sisters-in-law, Patsy Longmire and Jerry Longmire; her brothers, Col. Jack Longmire and wife, Sarah; and Bob Longmire and his wife, Pat.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Shriner’s Burn Institute, 815 Market St., Galveston, Texas 77550-2725.
