FERRIDAY – Services for Claricie Clooney Hooper, 84, of Ferriday, who died Thursday, Nov. 15, 2007, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be at noon today at Zion Hill Baptist Church, in Ferriday, with the Rev. LeRoy White officiating.

Burial will follow at Natchez National Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time today at the church.

Mrs. Hooper was born Sept. 23, 1923, in Ferriday, the daughter of Leslie and Louise Miller Clooney. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Zinepher Hooper.

Survivors include her sister, Willia J. Leach of Kansas City, Mo.; brothers, James Leach of Kansas City and Kenneth Leach of Austin, Texas; four nephews; and a special niece, Marsha Neal Hooper of Ferriday.
