LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Services for Randy Anthony Claiborne, 42, of Little Rock, Ark., formerly of Natchez, who died Saturday, Nov. 17, 2007, at U.A.M.S., were 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 24, 2007, at Gate Way Funeral Home with the Rev. Michael Flowers officiating.

Burial followed at Stuman Cemetery, in Little Maumelle, Ark., under the direction of Gate Way Funeral Home in Little Rock.

Mr. Claiborne was born Sept. 9, 1965, in Natchez, the son of Joseph Claiborne Sr. and Emma B. Latham Claiborne. He was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church and later joined White Stone Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his mother; and uncle, Duncan Claiborne.

Survivors include his loving wife, Shelia Claiborne; daughter, Tatiana Claiborne, both of Little Rock; Joseph Claiborne of Natchez; sister, Demita Joe Ford Claiborne of Monroe, La.; brothers, John Lee Claiborne of Natchez, Joseph Claiborne Jr. of Dallas and Maurice Claiborne of Detroit; great-aunts, Emma Foster of Natchez, Evon Miller of Detroit, Susie Beverly of St. Louis and Lou Hazel Henderson of Houston; great-uncles, Oscar Norman and David Norman, both of Detroit; uncles, Henry James Latham of Maryland, Wash., Freddie Latham and wife, Dan Ethel, both of Gary, Ind., Charlie Latham and wife, Angela, both of Natchez, Albert Latham and wife, Bernice, both of Houston, Larry Latham and wife, Pat, both of Detroit, and Theodore Claiborne of Pasadena, Calif.; aunts, Dolly Guyton and Helen Marvel, both of Pasadena, Mary Alice Williams and husband, Mego, and Corrine Henderson, all of Detroit, and Auntie Rue of Natchez; special nieces, Crystal Michelle and Jasmin Johnson, who loved him very much; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
