Ryan Dixon Richardson has been named the retail sales coordinator of Natchez Newspapers, publishers of The Natchez Democrat, Miss-Lou Buyers Guide and natchezdemocrat.com.

She has been a member of the retail sales team since 2004. In addition, she’s helped coordinate several projects at The Democrat including the 2007 Relay for Life team and the 2008 Profile planning.

In her new role, Richardson will assist the retail sales team by coordinating sales planning and staff training.

“I’m excited for Ryan to step up into this leadership training role,” said Kevin Cooper, Democrat publisher. “Her attitude and demeanor with her customers and the other members of our team are top-notch. She’ll do a great job helping me lead our highly skilled, professional sales team.”

Richardson, a Natchez native, graduated from Natchez High School and attended Co-Lin in Natchez.

She is a regular participant in Natchez Little Theater productions.

Richardson has one daughter, Josie.
