Van Vlymen accepted to E. Virginia medical school

C. Corey van Vlymen, a senior majoring in psychology at Hampden-Sydney College, has received early acceptance to Eastern Virginia Medical School through an innovative joint program.
Van Vlymen graduated from Trinity Episcopal Day School and is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth van Vlymen of Natchez.
A Patrick Henry Scholar at Hampden-Sydney, he serves as Content Editor of the student newspaper The Hampden-Sydney Tiger and on the board of publications.
He is a former Editor of the campus literary magazine The Garnet. Van Vlymen has participated in the Pre-Health Society, the Psychology Club, the Philosophy Club, the International Club, the College Democrats, and the Jongleurs theatre group.
