NATCHEZ — A vehicle on Dumas Drive was shot at roughly 5 p.m. Monday, Natchez Police Chief Mike Mullins said.
No one was injured, and no other property was damaged, he said.
Officers found a vehicle with one shot in the bottom of the driver’s door, one in the hood and one in a headlight.
Two individuals were in the car, and the two suspects were on foot, Mullins said.
“The driver was present at the scene (when officers arrived),” Mullins said. “The passenger ran away, probably because we have four outstanding false pretense warrants on him.”
Police have identified the two suspects involved in the shooting and are looking for them, he said.
