Thanks to Lipsey for defending laws of land

Service and sacrifice are exactly the two words I’d use to describe the last 18 years of Glenn Lipsey’s life. I say this because he has daily faced dangers doing the job he loves — upholding the law.
Each time Glenn suited up for the specialized SWAT team on which he served, he faced eminent danger. He faced the people you hope your child never has to encounter.
The months he spent in New Orleans after Katrina, quelling the anarchy from American citizens, was as dangerous as being in a war zone. We are all aware of what happened in that city.
Is a bullet-proof vest part of your attire for your job? As a Louisiana State Trooper, Glenn put on one because each and every moment he was on duty he faced a risk of danger in forms we can only imagine.
I say “thank you” Glenn Lipsey for defending the Constitution and laws of this land.
