NATCHEZ — Services for John L. Butler, 54, of Natchez, who died Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2007, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Zion Watch Baptist Church.
Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home in Bude.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Mr. Butler was born April 8, 1953, in Adams County, the son of the Rev. Andrew and Lenora Butler. Mr. Butler enjoyed riding horses and spending time with his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Gloria Page; and brother, James “Tex” Butler.
Survivors include a loving and devoted wife of 35 years, Narvelena Butler; his parents; daughters, Kathy L. Butler and Tiffany Wiggins; sons, John Butler Jr. and Trey R. Butler; sisters, Lenora Thompson and husband, John, Velma Allen and husband, James, and Lynda Yates and husband, Alonzo; brothers, Leroy Butler, Andrew Butler Sr. and wife, Marie, Joseph Butler, Jack Butler and wife, Arma, Dale Butler, Donald Butler and wife, Gladys, and Eddie Butler and wife, Patricia; grandchildren, Brandon, Diamond, Oriana and Bailey Butler, Brandon Henderson, Brittani Kelly and Gabriel Maxwell; and a number of aunts, uncles, nieces, other relatives and friends.
