Trinity puts several on All-District Team

NATCHEZ — The honors keep rolling in for several Trinity Episcopal football players.

After concluding their season with a 13-1 record and a run to the MPSA Class AA South State Championship game, 19 Saints were selected to the District 3 All-District Team.

On offense, quarterback Parker Brumfield was named the district’s MVP while linemen Matt Barnes, Larry Calcote and Bryant Pearson, running back R.J. Fleming, fullback Matthew Freeman and receiver Clint Easom were selected first team.

Offensive lineman Deacon Newman, receiver Wells Middleton and tailback Brandon Daggs were named second team.

Linebacker Jordan Vance was named the defensive MVP of the district while defensive linemen Langdon Morrison, Matt Barnes and Freeman, defensive backs Easom and Fleming and linebacker Middleton were selected to the first team.

Linebacker Jordan Dossett and defensive lineman Bryant Pearson were selected to the second team.
