NATCHEZ — Two local juveniles were arrested in connection with three recent vehicle burglaries.
The two suspects, an 11-year-old and a 12-year-old, were arrested in connection with three vehicle burglaries reported between the hours of 2 p.m. and 11 p.m. Saturday, Police Chief Mike Mullins said.
All three vehicles were left unlocked, and the items taken from the cars included a camera, an iPhone, jewelry and two purses.
All of the stolen goods were recovered, Mullins said.
“I want to emphasize to people that they should not leave anything in their vehicle that can be seen by anyone walking by,” Mullins said. “Please lock the vehicle.”
Both juveniles were charged and released back to their parents, Mullins said.
