VIDALIA — The Vidalia police are searching for suspects in a recent shooting.
The police responded to a shooting at Danny’s Lounge, 405 Clinton St., at 3:30 a.m. Sunday, but the incident occurred earlier in the night, Police Chief Billy Hammers said.
The victim, Keswuana Henderson, 24, of Ferriday, was struck in the leg by a bullet, Hammers said.
“We don’t know if the shooting was intentional,” Hammers said. “Street talk is someone shot down into the floor and it bounced up and hit her.”
Henderson was transported to Natchez Regional Hospital and has since been released.
The matter is still under investigation, but the police do not have any suspects at this time, Hammers said.
Anyone with any information should contact the Vidalia Police Department at 318-336-5254.
