NATCHEZ — Gary Smith, a resident of Oak Wood Lane, reported the theft of a gun on Jan. 3, also Brown said.

Smith reported the gun missing only after he saw it in an area pawn shop Brown said.

Brown said Julie Lafferty has been arrested in relation to the theft.
