NATCHEZ — Cindy Cosey, a resident of Upper Kingston Road, filed a report with the Adams County Sheriff’s Office on Jan. 3, stating a pistol had been stolen from her home in mid-December.

Sheriff Ronny Brown said the theft was not a break-in. He said Cosey suspected a friend of the family stole the gun.
