FERRIDAY – Services for Christine Thomas Davis, 58, of Ferriday, who died Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2008, at St. Francis Cabrini Hospital, in Alexandria, La., will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Harvest Baptist Church, in Ferriday, with the Rev. Charles G. Chandler officiating.

Burial will follow at Ferriday Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Davis was born Sept. 4, 1949, in Ferriday, the daughter of Henry and Gladys Harris Thomas. She was a seamstress.

Survivors include her children, Willie, Tyrone, Brenda and Elissa Davis; brothers, Edward Harris and Stephen Harris, all of Ferriday; sisters, Cynthia Harris of Cartersville, Ga. and Diane Morgan of Ferriday; 17 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
