VIDALIA — Two Monroe men were arrested for allegedly burglarizing a Concordia Parish business.
Desmond LeOliver Copeland, 20, 1918 Martin Short St., Monroe and Patrick Laranzo Bonner, 20, 104 Deerwood Drive, Monroe were arrested Wednesday on charges of burglary of a business.
Copeland was arrested after an employee with Performance Dodge allegedly caught him using a computer in the dealership’s office and wearing a dealership employee jacket.
The employee reportedly found a door on the west side of the business open and the doors of several cars ajar.
The Concordia Parish Sheriff’s Office responded to the call at 7:28 a.m.
CPSO Deputy Lee Ford arrested Copeland within four minutes of receiving the call.
Bonner was later reportedly found at a Ferriday supermarket trying to find a ride to Monroe and pretending to be confused.
CPSO Deputy Phillip Webber arrested Bonner after Webber picked him up and determined he was associated with Copeland and the burglary.
CPSO Deputies Shea Hudnall, Capt. Charles Tarver and Capt. Frankie Carroll are assisting in the case.
No bond has been set for Copeland or Bonner.
