WCCA students started back to school on Jan.7, after holiday break. They started off the week with devotion by Mrs. Liz McGraw.

She came out dressed as a football player saying that just because she was dressed like a player didn’t mean she was a football player, this made the example that just because people dress religious doesn’t mean that they are.

Mrs. Suzette McCarty organized the hospitality room for the annual New Year’s Basketball Shoot Out.

The ASVAB representative was here on the 11th of January to present the junior class with their results from the test.

This test is aimed to help students decide what to do for their professions and if they should join the Armed Forces.

Graduation is approaching soon for the seniors, on Friday, Balfour was here to pick up the senior’s orders for their invitations.

WCCA will hold the second blood drive for the year on Jan. 29 in the cafeteria. Seniors that give blood a second time during the year will be eligible to wear red cords at graduation.

At the last blood drive WCCA donors gave a total of 38 units of blood.

This blood is used at local hospitals in our area.
