MEADVILLE (AP) — The Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics has seized about 100 marijuana plants and arrested four people in Franklin County.

A news release Friday from MBN says the arrests happened in Franklin County Jan. 16-17 when agents executed state search warrants.

Two of those arrested — 60-year-old Samuel Fleischer and 51-year-old Vickie Fleischer — were charged with the manufacture of marijuana and possession with intent to distribute marijuana. Twenty-nine-year-old Wesley Hawkins and 23-year-old Zachary Fleischer were charged with the sale of over an ounce of marijuana as well as the manufacture of marijuana.

Search warrants were executed at 162 Coldwater Church Road SE in Meadville and 14015 Highway 98 East in Smithdale.
