NATCHEZ – Services for Evelina Bailey Malone, 95, of Natchez, who died Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2008, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at New Beginning Baptist Church with the Rev. LeRoy White officiating.
Burial will follow at Leesdale Cemetery under the direction of George F. West Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Malone was born Dec. 26, 1912, in Natchez, the daughter of Thomas Bailey and Lizzie Cage Bailey. She was a member of the Friend Relief Society No. 3 and Order of Eastern Star.
She was preceded in death by her parents; stepfather, Robert Johnson; one sister, Gertrude Bailey; one son, Billy Q. Malone; and one grandson, James Brown.
Survivors include five daughters, Beatrice McNair and Dorothy Williams, both of Battle Creek, Mich., Clarice Harris and husband, Riley, both of Romulus, Mich., Mary Clayton of Natchez and Lucille Lee and husband, Benard, both of Ferriday; one daughter-in-law, Mary F. Malone of Manhattan, Kan.; 12 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; 52 great-great-grandchildren; one great-great-great-grandchild; and a number of other relatives and friends.
