Police continue to search for escaped inmate

GULFPORT (AP) — The Harrison County Sheriff’s Department says the search continues for an escaped inmate.

Thirty-three-year-old Mark Kee Brown was one of four inmates to escape from the Harrison County jail early Sunday. Brown was jailed on a capital murder charge. In a previous escape in April 2000, Brown was on the loose for 18 days before he was captured.

The thee inmates involved in Sunday’s escape — 27-year-old Timothy Shane Haynie, 24-year-old Dustin D. Griffin, and 21-year-old William Arevalo – have all been apprehended by police.
