DENHAM SPRINGS, La. – Services for Barbara Powell Dunlap, 53, of Denham Springs, La., who died Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2008, at Capitol House Nursing Home, in Baton Rouge, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Seale Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Carl Rushing officiating.
Burial will follow at Beech Ridge Cemetery, in Denham Springs, under the direction of Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today and from 1 p.m. until service time Friday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Dunlap was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Dunlap; her father, Roy Ford Powell; mother and stepfather, Mary Barker Alwell and Lawrence Alwell; sister, Sherrill Littleton; and fiancé, William Cranfield.
Survivors include two daughters, Melissa Dunlap Constance and Rebecca Dunlap Womack and husband, Joseph; one son, Clarence Howard Dunlap Jr.; one sister, Patricia Metcalf and husband, Henry; one brother, Roy Powell; eight grandchildren, Ashley and Madeline Constance, Remington Shaffer, Dystanee and Cortnee Womack, Austyn Persick, Krystal Womack and Claryssa Dunlap; and maternal grandmother and step-grandfather, Agnes Coleman and William Herron Sr.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
