Mardi Gras not only good news in area

With Mardi Gras season in full swing, the Miss-Lou is a fun place to be these days.
Last week brought the Krewe of Phoenix and the Krewe de Who parades downtown, and several events for children around town.
But a shower of Mardi Gras beads wasn’t the only thing falling on the Miss-Lou this week. Let’s review the good news of last week.
4Mississippi TV personality Walt Grayson shared some tales about his favorite Natchez memories at the Natchez-Adams County Chamber of Commerce quarterly luncheon. The chamber uses the meeting to give an update on projects, but a character like Grayson makes the meal an interesting one for all in attendance.
We are glad Grayson appreciates our town as much as we do.
4The Friends of the Forks of the Road have compiled a special display at the Natchez Visitor’s Center for Black History month. The display focuses on the Underground Railroad, and joins several other interesting exhibits related to black history.
The visitor’s center isn’t just for visitors, and we hope you’ll be sure to check out what is on exhibit.
