MCCOMB — Services for Dr. Evelyn D. Prescott, 86, who died Thursday, Feb. 7, 2008, at Beacham Memorial Hospital were at 2 p.m. Sunday at Hartman Funeral Home Chapel the with Rev. Donald Dick officiating.
Burial followed at Magnolia Cemetery under the direction of Hartman Funeral Home in McComb.
Dr. Prescott was preceded in death by her parents, Robert William Prescott and Ollie Brumfield Prescott; one sister, Edrie Prescott Wilkins; and two nephews, Bill Prescott and Ricky Prescott.
Survivors include two brothers, Robert W. Prescott Jr. and wife, Laura Marie, both of Magnolia, and George Prescott and wife, Mary Jo, both of Natchez; two nephews, Ronny Prescott, and wife, Kay, of Magnolia, and George Prescott, and wife, Cathy, of Natchez; nieces Becky Dawson and husband, Kevin, of Dardanelle, Ark., Dee Ann Herring and husband, David, of Houston, Jan Walsh and husband, George, of Centreville; special caregiver Linda Ray; and friend of over 50 years, Ms. Peggy Stroud.
