March 29! Save that date! All you former tire plant employees, that is. Yep, it’s that time again.
Plans are now well underway for the fourth annual tire plant reunion that will be Saturday, March 29 at the Natchez Shrine Club located at 229 Morgantown Road from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Lunch will be served at Noon with drawings for door prizes following immediately after.
As always, this event is open to all former salaried and hourly employees of Armstrong, Fidelity and Titan Tire and their spouses.
Widows and widowers of former employees are also welcome. However, children are not included.
Admission is $5 per person to cover cost of renting the building and other expenses, and everyone is requested to bring a covered dish. Drinks will be provided.
There will be one more planning meeting on March 17th at 6 p.m. at Concordia Bank in Vidalia to iron out all the wrinkles. We can always use an extra pair of hands, so if you would like to be a part of the planning process, please feel free to join us March 17th.
So mark your calendars and make your plans to join us for another memorable reunion with old friends, lots of good food and many trips down memory lane. Hope to see you there!
