ALEXANDRIA, La. – Services for Dorothy A. Morel, 86, of Naples, Fla., formerly of Alexandria, La., who died Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2008, will be 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 29, 2008, at St. Francis Xavier Cathedral in Alexandria.
Mrs. Morel was born Feb. 5, 1922, in Alexandria, the daughter of Raymond and Armide Mertens, sister of Ralph Mertens.
Survivors include her son, Charles Morel and wife, LaVonne, both of Naples, Fla.; one grandson, Paul Morel of San Jose, Calif.; one granddaughter, Sharon Morel-Lawrence; and three great-grandchildren, Caitlin, MacKenna and Morgan, all of Naples.
