Loren Walley

DALLAS – Memorial services for Loren Ronald “Ron” Walley, 65, of Dallas, who died Friday, Feb. 22, 2008, in Richardson, Texas, after a brief but courageous battle against cancer, will be today at the Episcopal Church of Ascension in Dallas.
A private burial will be at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery.
Mr. Walley was born June 23, 1942, in Lepanto, Ark., the son of Loren and Pauline Walley. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was a retired U.S. postmaster. He was a devoted father, grandfather, and friend who will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Mary Elaine Walley.
Survivors include one daughter, Suzanne Anderson and husband, Cliff; one son, Ron Walley and wife, Julie; four grandchildren, Lauren Walley, Chase Anderson, Gabrielle Walley and Pierce Anderson; Betty Walley, his wife of 29 years and the mother of his children; one brother, Jerry Walley and wife, Elsie; one niece, Debbie Thomas and her family; one nephew, Keith Walley and his family; and a number of friends in Louisiana and Florida.
Memorial donations may be made to the First Tee of Northwest Florida, 300 Tonawanda Drive., Pensacola, FL 32506, in care of Ron Walley.
