WOODVILLE – Services for Wade “Teddy” Tolliver, 77, of Woodville, who died Saturday, March 1, 2008, at his residence, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Rose Hill Second Zion Baptist Church with the Rev. Ernest Ford Jr. officiating.
Burial will follow at Locust Hill Cemetery, in Woodville, under the direction of Rollins Funeral Home in Woodville.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. Tolliver was born Sept. 27, 1930, in Woodville, the son of Levi Crow Petes and Annie Tolliver Hunter. He was a retired custodian with the Wilkinson County Sheriff’s Office and was a member of Rose Hill Second Zion Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Ollie Mae Wilson; one grandchild; his parents; seven brothers; and one sister.
Survivors include his wife, Jeraldine Lollis Tolliver; one daughter, Violet Robinson and husband, Cornell, both of Webster, Texas; two grandsons he raised and cherished as his own, Anthony Ray Fisher Jr. and Wade Tremaine Fisher, both of Webster, Texas; one granddaughter, Korsica Robinson of Monticello, Ark.; three great-grandchildren; one brother, David Lloyd Tolliver and wife, Susie, both of Columbia; three sisters, Louise Arbuthnot, Clara Maxine Rounds and Mandy Martin, all of Natchez; and a number of other relatives and friends.
