NATCHEZ – Services for Stella Thomas Rambo, 76, of Clinton, formerly of Vidalia, who died Thursday, March 6, 2008, at Hospice Ministries, in Ridgeland, will be at 3 p.m. today at Laird Funeral Home Union Street Chapel with the Rev. Ron Ledford officiating.
Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Mrs. Rambo was born April 13, 1931, in Eudora, Ark., the daughter of Tom and Susie Hayles. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Vidalia.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Roy Rambo; one son, Kenny Thomas; three brothers; and two sisters.
Survivors include one daughter, Linda Fielder and husband, Harvey, both of Clinton; one son, Glen Thomas and wife, Karen, both of Florence; two granddaughters, Alysha Fielder Jackson and husband, Shane, both of Clinton and Catherine Thomas of Covington, La.; two grandsons, Tim Fielder and wife, Shannon, both of Brandon and Alton Thomas of Dallas; four great-grandchildren, Taylor and Lindsey Grace Jackson, both of Clinton and Finn and Hudson Fielder, both of Brandon; one brother, Bobby Hayles; three sisters, Elizabeth Givens, Noralene Johnson and Bonita Johnson; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Donald Johnson, Paul Hayles, James Johnson, Roger Johnson, Johnny Johnson and Michael Johnson.
