NATCHEZ – Services for Kay Taylor, 56, of Natchez, who died Tuesday, March 18, 2008, at M.D. Anderson Medical Center, in Houston, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Highland Baptist Church with the Rev. Paul Southerland officiating.
Burial will follow at Taylor Cemetery, on Palestine Road, under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the church and from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Mrs. Taylor was born May 31, 1951, in Lincoln County, the daughter of Marvin and Mildred Gray Watts. She was a teacher’s assistant at Morgantown School. She was also a former member of the Ladies Softball Association of Natchez and the Natchez Women’s Bowling League.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Charlie Taylor; one brother, Wayne Watts; grandparents; and loving inlaws, William and Irene Taylor.
Survivors include her loving husband, Charles Taylor; one daughter, Mindy Taylor Eisner and husband, Jason, both of Roanoke, Va.; two grandchildren, Becca and Blaine Eisner, both of Roanoke; two sisters, Eva Wallace and husband, Rollie, both of Natchez and Diane Meek of Vidalia; one brother, Claude Watts and wife, Gwen, both of Brandon; two sisters-in-law, Barbara Watts and husband, James, and Connie Wilson and husband, Larry, all of Natchez; two brothers-in-law, Jimmie Taylor and wife, Betty Sue, and Mark Taylor and wife, Vivian, all of Natchez; and a number of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Pallbearers will be Steven Wilson, Jackie Wallace, Jay Wallace, Andy Taylor, Wes Forman and Buddy Forman.
Honorary pallbearers will be students of Morgantown school.
