Douet joins Entergy’s Port Gibson plant as VP

PORT GIBSON — Entergy Nuclear announces Randy Douet as vice president of operations at Grand Gulf Nuclear Station.

Douet will participate in a transitional process until he officially assumes the role on April 1.

Douet will replace Russ Brian, who is moving into the role of vice president, operations support for Entergy Nuclear.

Douet joins Grand Gulf from the Tennessee Valley Authority, where he most recently served as vice president of nuclear support and previously served as site vice president at Sequoyah Nuclear Plant.

Prior to joining TVA, Douet worked with Entergy for more than 20 years in a variety of capacities at Arkansas Nuclear One, River Bend Station and Waterford.

“Randy’s talent and experience will support a seamless transition within our nuclear operations,” said John Herron, senior vice president, Entergy nuclear operations.

In his new role with Entergy, Brian will oversee key areas of Entergy’s nuclear operations including fleet alignment and standardization, focusing on radiation protection operations and outage and work management.
