Floyd Gaylor

NATCHEZ – Services for Floyd Walter Gaylor, 75, of Natchez, who died Sunday, March 16, 2008, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Church of Jesus Christ God’s Son with Elder Samuel Watkins Sr. officiating.
Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Robert D. Mackel and Sons Funeral Home.
Mr. Gaylor was born Jan. 31, 1933, in Natchez, the son of Steve Gaylor and Dora Hence Gaylor. He was a construction worker and a member of Bibleway Pentecostal Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a number of siblings.
Survivors include his wife, Clara Grays Gaylor; three daughters, JoAnn Smith and husband, Carl, both of Vidalia, Johnetta Harper and husband, Charles, both of Monroe, La., and Annette Huff of Clarksville, Tenn.; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; one brother, Levester Gaylor and wife, Beverly, both of Natchez; four sisters, Pearline Woods, Verline Gaylor, Annie Mae Sheppard and husband, Jerry, and Florida Gordon, all of Natchez; and a number of other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be friends of the family.
